CLOTHES

I have a bit of a sore throat and if it isn't gone by tomorrow, I will be shaking my fist in fury. This weekend is very busy, the last thing I need is to be under the weather.
What I'm currently obsessed with: fashionable plaid flannel shirts because they are super warm and you can easily wear 2-3 other layers under them, plus a jacket and/or coat on top without things getting too bulky. I'm not just thinking of winter here in SC...Chicago is going to be brutal and I must prepare. Speaking of which, I should also stock up on longjohns.
Also, sweaters. Because one can never have enough. Especially crazy vintage ones.
I used to wear plaid flannels when I was a kid, but they weren't so fashionable, haha. I guess they were fashionable for the mid-90's. The more I ponder it, the more I think that 90's fashion sucked serious balls. The 80's may have been outrageous, but at least fashion was interesting. What was interesting about 90's fashion? Mom jeans? Those half-overall half-dress things? Limited Too? You might detect a hint of sarcasm in there...every time I watch an episode of Fresh Prince I cringe (and sometimes gag) at what the women were wearing! Have you ever seen that horrible movie "10 Things I Hate About You?" The clothes, the clooooottthhhesss....
When 90's trends start making a comeback I will scream bloody murder and run for the hills.

early 90's was awesome. There were poet shirts, corset vests, and knee high granny boots or ren-fair style boots. Sadly, it was short lived and suddenly we started moving towards 60's and 70's style.

I didn't mind the 60's/70's stuff so much...I dunno, just...the way t-shirts were cut, big, shapeless baggy clothes...bleh. Now I wear things loose, but flattering, not just...baggy. Maybe I should post some pictures or something XD
